Environmental Protection (Waste Management) Regulation 2000
The object of this regulation is to protect the environment by minimising the impact of waste on the environment ncluding, in particular, the impact of waste so far as it directly affects human health; and establishing an integrated framework for minimising and managing waste under the principles of ecologically sustainable development.
