Experimental investigation of performance of a novel ventilation method for hospital patient rooms
A novel hospital bed integrated ventilation and cleaning unit (HBIVCU) was developed to reduce the exposure of medical staff, visitors, etc. to coughed air from a sick patient. The performance efficiency of the unit was studied in a full-scale mock-up of a hospital room with two beds with patients and a doctor.
