This paper report the measurement results of the airborne microbe (bacteria and fungi) in the waiting room obtained by the measurement results of 16 Japanese hospitals (hospital A to P), and show the effectiveness of a portable air cleaner on the reduction of suspended bacterial concentration by the in situ experiment.
