The purpose of this aide-memoire is to highlight areas where there are differences between the existing UK codes of practice and the revised Appendix, so that users can take steps to ensure that their housig reflects present knowledge and good practice. This will have immediate advantages in terms of animal welfare, may improve the quality of the science, and should help to ensure that decisions made now are likely to comply with future changes in UK legislation.
